Drysdales offers plenty of women’s jeans that offer comfort or practicality, whether it’s on a horse, or at work, or helping raise the kids at home.
However, Drysdales also offers jeans that can be described as stupendously eye-catching. These jeans are made for fashion. These jeans exist simply to make women look great.
Miss Me is one of those fashion brands, and it has been among the best-sellers at Drysdales for the past three years.
“It’s the hot thing,” says Drysdales women’s buyer Stace Allen. “It’s the thing … it’s what everybody wants. There’s nothing rivaling it right now.”
Drysdales jeans buyer Frank Lambert agreed, and noted that Miss Me isn’t offered by just any run-of-the-mill retailer.
“It’s a kind of mystique with the brand. Miss Me has become a phenomenon. The fact they’re not being sold in every filling station in town gives it some exclusivity.”
We decided to take a closer look at the Miss Me jeans that Drysdales has in stock. We noticed certain characteristics that mark the brand:
— Each Miss Me style contains a very distinctive back pocket, almost all of them with fancy stitching, rhinestones, and/or nailheads.
“They don’t just do the same back pockets,” Allen said. “That’s another reason people are buying them. You can have a different look every day.”
Later, we’ll take a closer look at the back pockets of the Miss Me jeans we carry.
— Each Miss Me jean contains a distinctive black leather logo patch on the back waistband, affixed with large silver-like rivets. Most of the patches look like this:
— Each Miss Me jean contains unique and large metal buttons and rivets. Most of the rivets and buttons look like this:
— Each Miss Me jean contains a small black “Miss Me” riser tag:
— Each Miss Me jean contains faded areas and/or creases. This gives the jeans a broken-in and worn look that’s desirable in the fashion market.
— Each Miss Me jean is made with a stretch fabric of 98% cotton and 2% Spandex. This allows the jeans to hug a woman’s curves and provide more comfort at the same time.
— Most of the Miss Me jeans that Drysdales carries come with leg openings made for boots. All Miss Me’s are low-rise, with a straight or skinny leg to give you a more flattering profile.
