Men’s western fashion tends to be more stable and sedate than women’s. However, with the arrival of spring, a few changes — and a distinctive brand — have arrived in men’s clothing at Drysdales retail stores in Tulsa.
Leighan Gearhart, buyer of men’s clothing at Drysdales, says makers of men’s western shirts bring out brighter and more vivid colors as the weather warms.
But what should get many men’s clothing customers excited is the arrival of shirts by the Texas Cotton brand. These western shirts are made in America.
Here are the tags you’ll find inside Texas Cotton shirts:
“We have a very patriotic customer base,” Gearhart said. “Producing these shirts in the United States is more cost-effective than it used to be, and we’re proud to support companies that make products in the U.S.A.”
Gearhart says another made-in-America brand, Flying R, should arrive at Drysdales stores in May. The parent company that owns Texas Cotton also owns Flying R.
Gearhart says strong-selling men’s western-shirt brands such as Cinch, George Strait, and 20X roll out eye-catching colors during the spring.
For instance, Cinch has introduced shirts in turquoise and orange:

And George Strait shirts roll out vivid hues with its shirts, too:
Also, George Strait polo shirts have become strong sellers in the spring:
