I love Willie Nelson, he was one of my father’s favorite artists so I grew up listening to him, he used to sing me to sleep as a child with Willie songs, and I’ve never grown tired of listening to him. Willie was also my very first concert in 1987, so the love is deeply ingrained in my heart and memories.

This is a tough one. I love Pat Green, but probably my all-time favorite of the moment is Texas’ very own Miranda Lambert.

I tried to enter your oldest pair of Tony Lama contest but didn’t know where to do it. This sounds like a good CD. Love Drysdales.

It’s an outstanding list. Who knew so many of these icons hailed from Texas? I sure didn’t. Without question my vote goes to Lucinda Williams, and Righteously happens to be one of my favourite tunes of the great Lucinda.
