Crunch time is fast approaching for you holiday shoppers. We want to keep you aware of our shipping deadlines if you want to have that special gift in hand before Christmas morning.
Our deadlines come a little earlier in 2011 because Christmas falls on a Sunday. But our shipping times aren’t affected by Monday’s announcement that the U.S. Postal Service probably will reduce services. Those cutbacks won’t begin until spring 2012, at the earliest.
Most of our products are shipped through the USPS. For regular parcel shipping in the U.S., the deadline to place an order with us and get it before Christmas is noon on Thursday, Dec. 15.
If you miss that date, you still have the option of USPS Priority shipping, which costs $10 more. The deadline for placing a Priority Shipping order and receiving it before Christmas is noon on Monday, Dec. 19.
If you miss both those deadlines, you still can use USPS Express mail, an additional $20. The deadline for Express mail is noon on Thursday, Dec. 22, to assure delivery before Christmas Day.
If you prefer to use United Parcel Service, the deadline to place a Rush order with us and receive it before Christmas is noon on Tuesday, Dec. 20. With even faster UPS Express shipping, the deadline will be noon on Wednesday, Dec. 21. The deadlines with UPS are a little earlier because the company doesn’t deliver on Saturdays.
Please keep in mind that these deadlines apply to domestic shipping, not international shipping. If you’re an international customer, you are advised to order now to reasonably assure you can get the package before Christmas. We offer USPS, UPS, and DHL for international shipments.
If you prefer to shop at our retail stores in Tulsa, we’re expanding our hours during a number of days before Christmas:
- Through Dec. 9 — 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Dec. 10 — 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Dec. 11 — 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Dec. 12-15 — 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Dec. 16 — 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Dec. 17 — 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Dec. 18 — 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Dec. 19-22 — 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Dec. 23 — 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Dec. 24 — 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Our retail stores will be closed Christmas Day. We will reopen at our regular hours on Dec. 26.
And we’ll be open on New Year’s Eve from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and from noon to 6 p.m. on New Year’s Day.
