The annual Oklahoma Sales Tax Holiday begins Friday, and you can take advantage of that and other specials at Drysdales retail stores.
It’s an ideal time for parents and kids who are shopping for back-to-school, plus you can check out our latest western fall fashions.
If you’re unfamiliar with the holiday, shoppers can purchase certain clothing and footwear free of sales tax from Friday, Aug. 5, through Sunday, Aug. 7. The holiday includes clothing and footwear priced at less than $100.
In the city of Tulsa, where our retail stores are located, the sales-tax holiday means a savings of 8.517 percent.
So you can save money on all kinds of western apparel, including Oklahoma’s largest selection of jeans. That includes brands such as Silver, Big Star, Rock Revival, Levi’s, Miss Me, Cinch, Wrangler Booty Up, and Wrangler Retro.
In addition, Drysdales retail stores are taking 10% off the price of purchases over $100, or purchases of non-apparel items. So you get to save money regardless of whether the merchandise you’re looking for meets tax holiday regulations.
Here are other specials we’re running during the sales-tax holiday weekend:
- 20% off our entire stock of children’s boots (that’s on top of the sales-tax savings)
- Justin men’s Stampede boots at $149.99
- Justin ladies Gypsy boots for $74.99
- Tony Lama men’s and ladies 3R boots for $159.99
